• ICAA Digital Art and Life Art Demo December 2024

    The ICAA iART Gallery Studio hosted a Demo of acrylic painting and Digital Art Fusion The event took place on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Over 35 artists, students, family members, and instructors gathered to showcase their abilities and participate in the art demo. The fusion of digital art and life acrylic painting was a great success. Many participants took brush and paint for the first time in their lives.

  • 2024- MARCH 8 International Women’s Day

    ICAA hosted the community discussion on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8. The newcomer community members from the GTA region gathered at the ICAA Gallery to celebrate Women's Day and talk about the challenges and opportunities ahead. ICAA art instructor made a presentation that was followed by a hot debate about the newcomer challenges and cultural revitalization. Participants viewed the ICAA's latest exhibition and spoke with the author of the art pieces.

  • Access to Art Classes for Low-Income Youth

    2023-2024 Since the end of COVID-19 and the reopening of the organization's doors, ICAA has been offering free art classes to newcomer and low-income youth in the Central and North End of Hamilton. ICAA Volunteers and art teachers are providing art sessions free of charge. Art instructors donated their time while ICAA purchased more art supplies. ICAA art classes are open every Saturday from 12 to 3 pm.
