In partnership with The Malhar Group (TMG), the ‘Asian Musical Instrument Show’ aimed to obtain intercultural understanding and foster public education through endorsing a week long exhibition of instruments, workshops and performances highlighting facets of Asian culture to the Canadian public. ICAA is launching ‘Hamilton Youth Conference’ on Feb. 25, 2012. The Hamilton Youth conference aims to gather youth leaders from various high schools and post secondary institutions. The conference is an opportunity which will highlight the cultural barriers that newcomer youth are facing. The participants will also be able to suggest solutions from their perspective and generate a resolution which will be shared with everyone in the community.

The Immigrant Culture and Art Association (ICAA) has launched a new creative project called 'Immigrant Youth Leadership and Career Focus'.
This project is a Youth Opportunities Program (YOP) lead by the Immigrant Culture and Art Association (ICAA) and funded by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration.
The objectives of the ‘Immigrant Youth Leadership and Career Focus’ is to introduce newcomer youth to career and employment opportunities, ensure that newcomer youth are able to troubleshoot problems and barriers which may arise, facilitate dialogue between the business community and youth, and finally to forge partnerships between newcomer youth and youth leaders from the Hamilton community.
