KNAIR RASHID

Knair grew up in the Iraq before settling in Hamilton - Canada where she is pursuing her career as art teacher and pottery artist. Art is central part of Knair’s life. She did certification in pottery from Mohawk College and currently teaching at the Immigrant Culture and Art Association Art School.

She says that the relationship between the clay and me started when I was child playing with the clay. I reflect my culture, nature and heritage in my work with the clay. I explore and discover my inner world using pottery.
